The Lavender Room

We have Four Guest Rooms, Three on the First Floor and One on the Ground Floor. The Guest Rooms on the First Floor share a shower room and toilet, however we let the first floor to one customer at a time, so you have complete privacy whether you're visiting on your own or as a group.

Nuit de Nacre Accordian Music Festival

SEPTEMBER 2012 NUITS DE NACRE ACCORDIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL, TULLE

Our chambre d'hote is just a short drive away from the Nuits de Nacre Accordian Music Festival.

Lovers of accordian music will be flocking to Tulle in Correze this Autumn as the 25th Nuits de Nacre gets underway.

The Nuits de Nacre in Tulle has over 90 concerts, most of which are totally FREE. Many performances are given along the riverside and in the streets of Tulle, as well as in the bars and cafes.

Our chambre d'hote just a short drive away from Tulle, so a perfect base for you to stay whilst enjoying the Nuits de Nacre 2012 music festival.

Pompadour Race Course

APRIL THROUGH TO SEPTEMBER 2012 (VARIOUS DATES)

Deep in the beautiful Correze hills, Pompadour is famous for the breeding of Anglo-Arab horses. Every year it hosts the National Dressage Championship, a two-part event in which both young riders and professionals compete.

Although there are loads of horsey activities all year round, especially on Sundays, this is one of the highlights of the equestrian events in the Limousin area; a must for horse lovers and admirers of these magnificent animals.

Every September it hosts the Grande Semaine Pompadour at the Haras National de Pompadour, during which the finest breeds are shown off for their speed, jumping ability and sheer beauty.

Strawberry Festival

MAY 2012

Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne celebrates its Strawberry Festival with a village-wide street party. Stalls sell local delicacies as well as, naturally, piles of strawberries, but the big draw is the cooking of a gargantuan strawberry tart, demolished by festival-goers the minute it's completed.

Tulle

Tulle (50 miles from Limoges) is an old City with a Cathedral, many bistros and shops.There is a local market every Wednesday and Saturday. The River Correze runs through the centre of Tulle where canoes and kyaks can be hired.

Argentat

Beautifully set on the River Dordogne, where you can hire canoes or take "une gaberre" (a traditional french wooden barge) for a relaxing trip down the River. There's also an Aqua Park nearby.

Beaulieu Sur Dordogne

A beautiful town on the Dordogne with many markets and activities during the Summer.

Pompadour

Hosts horse-racing most Sundays in the Summer, along with show-jumping. The race-course is overlooked by a magnificant Chateau.

Oradour Sur Glen

Is an amazing village with a tale to tell from 1944 . . . well worth a visit!

Brive

Where old meets new - the modern Brive has a Golf Course, many shops, including a large hypermarket, and "old Brive" has plenty of Al fresco Restaurants, architecture and lovely boutiques.

Limoges
